Bacon

Posted Jul 28, 2004 at 10:53 PM

In my effort to keep the internet an honest place, I admit it, I didn’t know how to make bacon. Tried it. In a pan. On the stove. What a terrible thing to have happen when the eggs are ready already. Had to call my mom. Ok, here’s the trick.

Ingredients

  • Bacon

Cooking Time

10 minutes plus preheating time.

Directions

  • Place separated slices of bacon on sheet.
  • Bake at 400° in the oven, without turning, until brown. Usually about 10 minutes.

Servings

Depends on how much you make and the honesty of those eating.

What, no salt?

Um… ah… no, I’ve never salted bacon. You should try it unsalted, it may taste less salty, but the third piece can be easily rationalized that way :)
