My favorite hometown record store

The first two albums (well, cassettes, actually) that I ever purchased myself were Journey’s “Escape” and Foreigner’s “4”. I remember I had just received a tape player for my birthday or Christmas or something, along with a gift certificate to The Exclusive Company. A relatively small store in West Bend, WI, but a definite stop for me every visit back home.
Many years and albums later, I thought I’d just drop a quick plug for this fine, fine place out onto the web. If you ever find yourself in the heart of the Kettle Moraine, they’re definitely worth checking out. They’ve expanded quite a bit (all over WI, in fact) since Steve Perry and “Don’t Stop Believing” were all the big thing, but I still feel like a 16 year-old kid with a gift certificate burning a whole in my pocket when I’m there.
I had a chance to work there so very long ago for the summer, and wonder from time to time what life would be like today had I chosen that path.
