XHTML 1.0 in XML Schema

For the longest time, the W3C had used DTD’s for the validation of XHTML 1.0, and it was not without its problems, due to the limitations of DTD’s over XSD. I looked far and wide for XSD schema files for XHTML a while back, mostly unsuccessfully. Then, the other day, I found that the W3C had finally created and released them.
Here they are, in all their wonder:
It should be a relatively trivial task to incorporate these into our development and testing tools. Woo hoo!
