Week 13 notes

Just posting the notes from the meeting with my dietitian this week…

  • After last week’s experiment, I now know what hungry feels like for me:
    • I get a hollow, empty feeling in my stomach
    • If I don’t eat at that point, I get lightheaded and slightly dizzy
    • If I still don’t eat, I get a headache and become cranky
  • I need to target getting 2 grain servings per day
    • Try cooked grains: brown rice, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat couscous, quinoa, bulgar, millet, oatmeal, etc.
    • Make sure all grains have a protein buddy
    • Aim for a max of 200 calories per day from all grains
  • Goal: 1750 calories, 49g fat per day
