Baked Fruit

Ingredients

  • 2 Granny Smith apples
  • 2 Golden Delicious apples
  • 2 Braeburn or other baking apples
  • 1 pear (e.g. Comice, Anjou pear)
  • 1 cup frozen berries (e.g. blueberries)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Cooking spray (olive or canola)
  • 1 tsp vanilla natural flavor liquid or powder (Frontier from PCC Markets is a good brand)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Spray baking pan with cooking spray.
  3. Cut the apples into 1” chunks, leaving the skin on. Combine the apples, pear and berries with the cinnamon and vanilla flavor, tossing well.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 4 servings, each having 170 calories and 1g fat.
